Incredible $30 Cartography Software Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a brief run earlier this year, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
